The farm is located in vicinity of Škofja Loka, a middle-aged town, first mentioned as a square in year 1248 and as a town in 1274.
Škofja Loka was supposed to be surrounded with walls protecting their inhabitants.
Above the town, there is a Škofjaloka castle, whose original image also had a tower in which prisoners were kept.
